Our stories have the power to generate change; to bring people together. My goal is to share stories that inspire, educate and entertain.
My story begins in a small country town in Queensland's Western Downs region. Growing up in a large, musical family, I always had a deep appreciation of the arts. It wasn't until I moved to Brisbane to complete a Bachelor of Film & Screen Media Production at Griffith Film School (GFS) that I realised the full capacity of the arts to shape who we are.
Upon completing my studies, I moved to Sydney to commence full-time work at SBS' youth-focused current affairs programme, The Feed. Here, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most highly-acclaimed journalists, presenters and DOPs in Australia to create impactful and engaging content across a variety of genres, from comedy to live music to Walkey Award-winning investigative documentaries.
With a newfound appreciation of factual entertainment and high-value production practices, I began working at the ABC as part of the formative team that created Australia's only dedicated weekly arts show, Art Works. My two years of work here provided space for artists to share their stories, and to ensure that art itself remained accessible to wider Australia - no matter your location, age or ability.
I believe everyone has a story that deserves to be seen and heard. Working predominantly for Australia's most trusted broadcasters has informed my ability to tell these stories with fairness, heart and absolute integrity.
